Dopo le grandi nevicate di metà Dicembre una portentosa bufera di grecale imperversa per oltre tre giorni sull’Appennino centrale, distruggendo completamente il paradiso che Sua maestà Deep Powder aveva appena creato. Seppur l’innevamento di base si conserva accettabile, l’ambiente rimane completamente “spelacchiato” e la qualità del manto pessima. Condizioni a dir poco ...“spartane”! Ormai le vacanze di Natale sui Sibillini sono già programmate, si parte lo stesso, con il morale un po’ basso e senza troppe aspettative. Fortunatamente, il nostro fiuto da cercatori, coadiuvato da una stabilità atmosferica eccezionale, ci permette di passare 6 giorni di puro divertimento, che ci riportano a casa entusiasti come sempre, e pronti a ripartire alla prima occasione! |

After the mid-December big snow falls, a huge storm lashes for more than three days the Central Appennino, destroying the paradise that His Majesty Deep Powder had just created. The snow base remains acceptable, but the environment is completely swept, and the quality of snow become really poor! The Christmas holidays “at Sibillini’s” are planned by now, we leave the same, in low spirits and without too many expectations. Fortunately, thanks to our seeker’s intuition, helped by an exceptional weather stability, we’re able to spend 6 days of pure fun, coming back home pumped up as usual an ready to start again as soon! |
